BOOKS-A-G0 G0 is an 501(c)(3) organization that collects used and new children's books and gives them to children from low income families. These books are distributed through schools and organizations that support these children.
Kids need books to improve their literacy and develop a love for reading. BOOKS-A-GO GO has given over 1 million books to children whose families cannot afford to buy them the books they need. The children love receiving their books and get so excited and can't wait to take them home and read them. For many children and families it is the first book in their home.
Millions of children throughout our country love books and want to read, but they do not have any books at home. BOOKS-A-GO GO wants to fix that and change children's lives, one book at a time.
BOOKS-A-GO GO's goal is to have cities across America, collecting children's books and giving them to the children in their communities who can not afford them. Ask How YOU can help!!

BOOKS-A-GO GO has been working with Mary Pope Osborne, Author of the best selling Magic Tree House Books to provide books to children in need. Osborne has developed the Classroom Adventures Program to provide sets of Magic Tree House Books and related resources into the classrooms of underserved schools.
